When we selected them, we looked for talent, but also paid close attention to personalities. Our musicians like performing together! The Funktion performs throughout the region at many concerts, clubs, and festivals. Quite simply, the best way to select entertainment for your event is to enjoy a live show. Weddings What we do best. From careful and considerate planning, listening, and working with you to share with you you biggest day's dreams through the last note of the party: we care. We provide all our couples and clients consistent and unmatched attention. Our events range in all sizes from an intimate dinner style party of 50 to an all out dance hall gala of 2000. Our goal is to make each event a 100% success and deliver well above your expectations. We regularly perform wedding ceremonies and jazz performances with various size ensembles. We are unique and deliver a sound that is undeniably pure with a funky edge that makes us stand out. Many bands can copy a recording, we can do that but have a way of delivering the music with our own undeniable sound.

For cocktails or dinner, the group breaks down to a one to four piece ensemble which plays a wide variety of contemporary and jazz standards. Their sultry chanteuse, Denise may be added to lend an element of sophistication to the group with her smooth as silk vocalizations of both classic standards and smoky torch songs.
THE SOIREE
A stylish touch to any cocktail or dinner hour, The Funktion creates an atmosphere reminiscent of the Paris jazz clubs of the 1940's. The continental flair is captured with a mixture of light jazz, featured vocal numbers from Cole Porter to Etta James, Classic Torch Songs, and elegant costuming. Voila!

If you can't see the band live, you can call up some of our recent clients and ask them for their take on how we did. You can of course request a meeting with the bandleader at a time convenient for you.
